Depending on how you use the website, we may process your name, email address, telephone number, booking and stay details, number of guests, messages and special requests, payment status and transaction references, and technical information generated when you use the website. Full payment-card details are handled by the configured payment provider and are not intended to be stored by us.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process data to answer enquiries and take requested steps before a booking; to create, administer and support accommodation bookings; to comply with tourism, guest-registration, tax, accounting and other legal obligations; and to protect the website, prevent fraud and defend legal claims. The corresponding legal bases are pre-contractual measures, performance of a contract, legal obligation and legitimate interests, as applicable. Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies or analytics, the legal basis is consent and it may be withdrawn at any time.

4. Recipients and service providers

Data may be shared only where necessary with the relevant accommodation provider or property owner, Hostaway as the booking-platform provider, the configured payment provider, operational suppliers needed to deliver the stay, professional advisers and competent public authorities. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or other lawful safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose and for applicable tourism, guest-registration, tax, accounting and legal-claims periods. Enquiry and support records are deleted or anonymised when no longer required, subject to those obligations.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and may withdraw consent without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
